Merlin Cinemas offer a chance to see some interesting films that rarely make it outside of the big cities, whether they are foreign language, cutting edge, contemporary or controversial releases. The Penwith Film Society films are shown on a Sunday and Monday at the Savoy Penzance and Tuesday and Wednesday at the Royal St Ives. The Alternative Phoenix films are shown on Thursdays at the Phoenix Falmouth.
